Placing an Order
We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Amazon Pay, iDeal, Bancontact, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, JCB, Diners Club, and Facebook Pay.

Please note: You can only use one promo code per order, we cannot backdate promotions, and they must be active at the date of purchase. Most promo codes have exclusions such as; one-time use, one per customer, date ranges, and product or price specifications.
The default currency for our European store is the euro (EUR). Countries in the EU zone that do not use the euro will see prices displayed in their local currency. These are:
Bulgarian Lev (BGN), Croatian Kuna (HRK), Czech Koruna (CZK), Danish Krone (DKK), Hungarian Forint (HUF), Polish Zloty (PLN), Romanian Leu (RON), and Swedish Krona (SEK).
Local prices are calculated automatically based on current exchange rates. Prices may fluctuate because of this.
Local currencies are supported by Shopify Payments, which include Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, along with most debit and credit cards.
Please note: For non-euro payments, Shopify charges a conversion fee of 1.5%. We are unable to edit orders that are made with local currencies but are able to refund, return, and create new orders.
You should have received a confirmation email soon after you made your purchase. It may have ended up in your spam folder.

Any order that has more than 10 items, is considered a bulk order and will require assistance from our team!

Please note: At this time we cannot ship bulk orders internationally and within the EU we cannot create bulk orders of more than €1.000. Upon completion of the form, we let you know if one or more of your requested item(s) is out of stock. No bulk orders can contain Gift Cards and orders over 90 items cannot contain Signature Cameras or Bundles. We are only able to ship bulk orders to one shipping address.
We think our products make the perfect gift! Once your item is added to your cart, you can add a special gift note to go along with your purchase.
Your order will come in a package that says "The Adventure Challenge" on the shipping label for the return address and does not include your information. The package will also not include an invoice to avoid ruining the surprise.

- Because of shipping weights and box sizes, if your order contains more than 15 of the same item we will need to place orders in increments of 18.
- Shipping will be calculated after the order form has been reviewed.

Small Bulk Order Exclusions: Only percent off codes can be used with small bulk orders (ie. no free items or shipping). Promo codes cannot exeed 20% off. Gift Cards, TAG, and The Adventure Box cannot be bought in bulk.

Large Bulk Order Exclusions: Sets, Bundles, Cameras, Adventure Boxes, TAG, and Gift Cards are not available in large wholesale orders. Promo codes cannot be used on large bulk orders as we have set discounted prices.
Shipping Costs, Transit Times, and Order Status
The estimated shipping time frame is 2 - 7 business days.
All orders are processed in our fulfillment center in Poland and shipped with DHL Express.
If the item(s) are in stock, your order will typically ship out in 1-2 business days.
You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Please note: Once your package has left our warehouse, The Adventure Challenge is not responsible for weather or mail carrier delays. Shipping costs and timeframes vary according to items and location. All shipping timeframes are estimates given to us by the carriers and are subject to change due to delays. If your order contains a pre-ordered item, your entire order will ship when that item is back in stock.
Shipping costs are dependent on the carrier. The costs vary based on item weight and distance from our fulfillment center in Poland.
In the European Mainland, all packages weighing between 0 and 2,7 kg will ship for free! Shipping fees for packages of all other weights will be based on the carrier.
Shipping fees for packages of all weights to Malta and Cyprus will be based on the carrier.
Our European web store currently only ships to the following countries within the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
If you wish to ship to other countries, please visit one of our other stores, or visit the US store, which ships anywhere in the world.

International shipping from our US store can typically take an additional 2-3 weeks. Estimated shipping fees will be calculated at checkout before purchase. Some countries also may require customs/collection fees, which are out of our control. You can reach out to your local carrier or customs office for more accurate shipping and customs information, as our data is based on country regulations.
Please note: At this time, we do have a handful of products that are only available on our US site. We cannot ship The Adventure Box Subscription, film, or batteries internationally.
If an item is on pre-order, there will be a notice on the product page, as well as the confirmation email.
Keep your eyes on the lookout for an email with shipping and tracking information as soon as your order ships!
Please note: If you purchase a pre-ordered product, your ENTIRE order will ship when the out-of-stock item has arrived at our warehouse. The posted time frames are estimates and subject to carrier delays.
Once your order has been shipped, you will be emailed a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link to stay updated on your order status. (Check your spam folder if you have not received this email.)

Lost orders are the worst! Don’t worry, we won’t leave you hanging.
Because tracking delays have unfortunately become more frequent, we are required to wait 30 days before we are able to file a “lost in transit” claim. Thankfully, packages often suddenly resurface long before this time expires, and we are able to resolve these issues sooner.
If your order has exceeded this timeframe, please reach out to us via Live Chat or at eu.support@theadventurechallenge.com, and we'd be happy to help get a claim filed and a replacement order shipped!
Here are a handful of things we suggest:
- Allow 2-3 days for it to arrive, as delivery scans often update before the package actually arrives at the final destination.
- Please check with your neighbors or building manager to see if it was misdelivered.
- Look at your confirmation email to confirm that the address you entered at checkout is correct.
- Reach out to your local carrier office as they would have the most recent update on your shipment.
If your order does not arrive within 2-3 days, and you have no luck with your neighbors or the carrier, please reach out to us via Live Chat or at eu.support@theadventurechallenge.com. Make sure to reach out within 14 days of the scanned delivery date to be considered for reshipment or reimbursement.
Product Information
The Adventure Challenge is a company that focuses on building connection through products that get you out of your comfort zone and make you come alive.
All of our products are created to encourage a lifestyle of adventure. Our hope is that you will explore outside your habits, dive deeper into your relationships, and create meaningful connections and memories!
Each challenge is hidden beneath our signature scratch-off square that will reveal the adventure to do with your friends, family, or loved ones. Use the provided plastic scratchers to scratch off the material.
There are icons next to each adventure that will give you some indication of the preparations you’ll need to make before completing the activity (ie. location, price, etc).
Our classic editions (Couples, Family, Friends, …In Bed, and Solo) also come with a ‘sticky strip’ to attach your Polaroid picture and a blank space to write down a brief summary of your new memory.
At the beginning of each book, you will find a Table of Contents for suggestions and topic categories. Feel free to do them in any order you would like!
Please note: For The Adventure Challenge …In Bed, we recommend doing the introduction section first as that section is meant to set you up for more fun and success in later challenges!
We include small plastic scratchers in every box. Lost the scratchers? To reveal your challenge, we suggest using your fingernail or something with a smooth, but firm plastic edge (such as a credit/debit card or a guitar pick).
Please note: We've noticed coins and keys can damage the scratch-off material. If the book is damaged due to being scratched with a non-recommended item, you will not be eligible for a return claim.

Our Signature Camera takes two CR-2 batteries to power, and the Remote Control Lens Cap requires one CR1632 battery (3V). We recommend using Fujifilm Instax Mini Film for the camera.
When loading new film or removing partially used film, please ensure that there is no light. We recommend doing this in a dark room or covering the camera to avoid the film from being exposed. If done properly, the remaining pack of film can be used in another camera.
Please note: Batteries and Film are not included with the camera and will need to be purchased separately. Our European store currently does not offer these supplies.
Our Adventure Challenge products are not country/region-specific, but because we are a US-based company, you’ll definitely see some American culture in the challenges. The main discrepancies you’ll see are the general cost per challenge reflected in USD and references to some American history, movies, and/or games.
Some challenges also call for a general location, such as a market or a body of water. We encourage you to adjust the challenge to your needs or liking. Feel free to get creative with how you complete your challenges!
For most of our products, you can do the challenges in any order you would like! We do have a Table of Contents that can give you recommendations but please feel free to be spontaneous and use the “Helpful Hint Icons” to choose a challenge that meets you where you are at!
The Adventure Challenge ...In Bed has an introduction section that we recommend completing first. That section is meant to set you up for more fun and success in later challenges!
Yes. At this time, we only offer an English version of our products. We are currently working with translators on a Spanish translation and hoping to also begin translating to other languages in the near future!
Eventually we’d love to create a book specifically for each country, but that may take a few more years. In the meantime, we are confident our American version will provide loads of adventure inspiration to you, no matter where you are in the world!
Each challenge has helpful icons displayed next to it to give you an idea of the time, location, and duration of the activity. In the Couples Edition, we added a ‘childcare’ icon for the challenges where we think you may find childcare helpful.
You can check out the “Helpful Hint” page at the beginning of the book for more information. Of course, we trust you will make the best decision for you and your family.
The Couples, Friends, Solo, and Family Editions are completely gender-neutral, so no matter what type of relationships you have, you can enjoy these editions without modifying the pronouns.
The Adventure Challenge ...In Bed will work successfully for LGBTQ+ couples, however, it does include specific he/she pronouns on occasion. We purposely limited the use of these pronouns to remain mindful of all sexual orientations while still informing heterosexual couples how to best enjoy certain challenges. The challenges themselves won't need to be changed, but you may need to make some gender-specific adjustments to those depending on your relationship dynamic.
Most challenges can be easily adapted to suit your needs.
That being said, your safety should be the highest priority. All of our challenges can be easily modified to suit your needs, but are not worth putting yourself in unnecessary danger. There are definitely some that anyone can do, and a handful of others that may require a little creativity.
All of our challenges in the Couples Edition focus on connection, fun, and creating memories.
There aren't any overtly sexual dates since we wanted to focus the challenges on bonding and togetherness, and also apply to a wide range of couples. The most "risque" date is painting on each other, where the challenge says "clothing optional.” That is about as crazy as it gets!
It also features a wide range of activities suitable for all ages! We even have siblings and dads and daughters that do the Couples Edition together! This product is fun and relatable for teen couples, but also just as exciting for couples who have been married for over 25 years.
Families come in all shapes and sizes, and we thought about this when designing the Family Edition. There aren't specific titles used to be considerate of all the different forms that families can take!
We do use some “parent/child” language within the book. One challenge suggests that parents and kids will form teams, but everything else is very neutral.
We think the Family Edition is ideal for families of 4 or more and for kids ages 4+. However, we've had smaller families or families with younger children adjust the challenges to best fit what they are looking for.
There are a few challenges where you may want to invite extended family or friends to join you, but these challenges will specify that in the description.
The Adventure Challenge ...In Bed is designed for couples who are wanting to explore new areas of intimacy with one another.
It is designed to help you see and appreciate each other’s minds, hearts and bodies in new and deeper ways.
The Friends Edition is all about connecting and creating memories with your best friend! This product is mostly made for two people, but there are also specific group adventures. Really any of the challenges could be done with several people if you are looking to modify them.
The Friends Edition focuses primarily on young adults, but many people older and younger have really enjoyed this edition as well.
The Solo Edition is all about connecting, adventuring, and getting out of your own comfort zone! There are a wide range of challenges that will help you learn more about yourself and turn ordinary days into memorable ones.
We don't have a strict age recommendation, but because our Solo Edition will only take “me, myself, and I” on various adventures with new places and people, if you're under 18 we'd just want you to make sure to check in with your parents or guardian before going on any challenges.
The Adventure Challenge Offices are located in Redding, California.
We are currently working with manufacturers in Vienna, Austria, China, Korea, and the United States. We work very hard to make sure we can get you quality products, quickly, while paying all workers and pieces of our supply chain fairly.
Not all products that are available on our US store are available on our International sites. If you do not want to wait until we launch new products internationally, you can always order them directly from our US store.

Refunds & Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you need to return any item(s), we’re here to help!
If you request a return within 30 days of your delivery date and your item has not been used, you are eligible for a return.
We are still able to accept returns on opened products that are unused, but we will need to know if the plastic has been removed so our team can know what next steps to take in the return process.
You will be required to purchase your own return label through our Return Portal service and once the return has been processed by our Fulfillment Center we will refund you for your returned item(s).
It can take up to 10 business days for a return to be processed once it has arrived at our fulfillment center.
Please note: At this time, used products (challenges scratched, perforations torn, writing in product, etc.) and Gift Cards are not eligible for returns. If a return comes to our warehouse and is used, the incorrect item, and/or no longer eligible for a return, we will not be able to refund you for that item.
We would love to help get you the product that is right for you! An item is eligible for an exchange if the request is made within 30 days of delivery.
The process will begin as a return but once the return is on its way back to us, proven by the tracking updates, we can begin the exchange process.
If the item you are exchanging for is not the same price as the new item, you will either get a refund or be required to pay the difference between your original product and the one you are hoping to exchange.
All refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment. We are unable to refund the money to a payment method that is not associated with your order.
You can expect to see the refund in your account in up to 10 business days. All refund recipients will receive an email confirmation for your records.
Damaged or Defective Goods
If you are concerned that your product is damaged/defective, please send us a video or photo so that we can assess the condition of the product and determine the next steps to resolve this for you.
If your issue is eligible for a claim, we will file a claim on your behalf and once it is approved, we will send a replacement order or issue a partial refund.
Things to note: Without video or photo proof we will not be able to file and process your claim. Any damaged or defective order requests after 2 years of delivery are outside the claim timeframe.

We have included two plastic discs in the books for you to use to scratch off the challenges.
If you lose the scratchers, please use something else with a smooth, plastic edge, like a credit card or guitar pick.
If you are still having difficulty, please send us photo/video proof of the damage, so we can look into it.
If the book is defective, we will send you a replacement item! If the product is not defective, we will send you a screenshot of the challenge you are needing help with.

Please note: Damage due to the challenges being scratched by a coin, key, or an object that is not recommended will not be eligible for a claim.
We started placing our products inside protective covers and wrapping them in plastic to help avoid damage during transit. Our designers created these to fit our aesthetics, but the intention was to protect the product and is considered packaging. We suggest opening up the box and ensuring that the book itself is in great condition.

Photo or video proof of the issue will need to be sent to our team so we can file a claim with our partners. If they confirm the product is damaged/defective, they will request further steps be taken by the customer before we can send a replacement or refund you for the item.
If you are having problems with the camera, and you need to remove the film, please ensure that there is no light. We recommend doing this in a dark room or covering the camera to avoid the film from being exposed. If done properly, the remaining pack of film can be used in another camera.

Cancellation and Edit Order Request
Your order will be sent to our warehouse shortly after you place your order, so we cannot guarantee cancellation requests will be able to be completed before the order transfers to our fulfillment center.
If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel your order and refund you to your original payment method. You will then be sent an email with the cancellation confirmation.
If your order has already shipped, we can help you with a return, new order, or exchange.
